- Striker who joined Darlington in July 2007. Harty impressed while on trial with Quakers, scoring a hat-trick in a game at Durham City. Until signing for Darlington Harty had played all of his football north of the border in Scotland and joined from Airdrie United. After starting his career at Hearts, Harty had also played for Albion, Clyde, Hamilton and Raith while he made almost 200 appearances for Stranraer between 1998 and 2003, scoring 68 goals.
