- Started his career at Manchester City and made appearances for 11 clubs in total. He finished his playing career with Darlington at the end of the 2001/02 season. Made over 40 appearances for Manchester City 1988 and 1995. During this time he has loan spells at Chester, Lincoln, Stoke and Bradford City - who he later joined permanently for £30,000. He played a part in their 1995/96 promotion season. He spent a short period on loan at Blackpool before he signed for Northampton Town, Carlisle United and Hull City. While at Hull City he moved to Darlington in February 2001.
