- Kevin Austin began his career at Saffron Walden Town, before moving in August 1993 on a free transfer to Leyton Orient. He went on to make over 120 appearances for the Orient before moving to Lincoln City in July 1996 for £30,000. He clocked up the appearances for his new club and became a firm favourite at Lincoln. A move to Barnsley followed in July 1999. Injuries however limited his chances at Barnsley and he was released in the summer of 2001. Spells at Cambridge United, Kettering Town and Bristol Rovers all followed. In June 2004 he moved to Swansea however he almost missed his home debut for club in August 2004. He got caught in a traffic jam on the M4 while travelling from his home in Bristol. Eventually finished up with over 130 appearances in all competitions for Swansea. Following Swansea he had a spell at Chesterfield and then signed for Darlington in August 2010.
