- Joined Darlington in March 2019. The midfielder had been playing in the USA for Real Salt Lake and Bethlehem Steel, and recently had trials with Oldham Athletic. He has been capped by Jamaica at various age levels. Went straight into the side for the away game at Nuneaton Town where he played a part in the opening goal. However in the second half he was shown a second yellow card and sent off. A tough tackling midfielder, Omar scored his first goal for Darlington in the home win over FC United on 6th April 2019. Holness continued his stay with the club into the 2019/20 season.
