- Leon Scott signed as one of the midfielders before the 2012/13 campaign began, having played for a host of Northern League clubs including Whitby Town. Scott started the Northern League season in central midfield, but mid-season was switched with Terry Galbraith, a move which saw Scott moved to left back. In 2013/14 he was switched back to midfield and was unfortunate to be injured inside the first minute of the club’s crucial playoff semi-final with Ramsbottom United. Since joining, particularly in the Northern League, Scott proved he could more than chip in with his share of goals. This season the majority of his game time has been in midfield.
