- Jack Lambert signed for Darlington on loan in November 2019 from Scunthorpe. Started his career at Middlesbrough when Alun Armstrong was on the coaching staff there, before he moved on to Dundee in the Scottish Premier League. Ahead of the 2019/20 season Lambert returned to English football by signing for Scunthorpe United. Joined Darlington in November 2019 on loan. This spell was extended until the end of January when he returned to Scunthorpe United. Despite not starting every game Jack impressed during his time with Darlington. Returned to Darlington in March 2020 but the season was quickly ended early due to Covid. Lambert was then released from Scunthorpe. Came back to the club in September 2021 on non-contract terms. His good performances saw him earn a contract until the end of the season. The 2022/23 season was even better. Darlington hoped to sign a new deal with Lambert but by the end of the season he had decided to move on. During the summer he signed for Kidderminster in the National League. The 2023/24 season saw Harriers relegated and Lambert back in National League North. Rejoined Darlington in November 2024 on loan.
