Biography
Started his career with Sunderland in the youth system and signed a professional deal in August 1998. He joined Darlington in 2000 as cover for Andy Collett but never made an appearance in the first team. He then played for Hartlepool United and Southend United but again struggled to break into the first team. He re-joined Darlington and made a few appearances during the 2002/03 season before leaving at the end of the campaign.
