- Started his career with Leeds United in the youth team. After his release he joined Doncaster Rovers where he played just over 50 times. He had a very brief loan spell with Halifax Town before joining Darlington in December 1993. Crosby would be established in the side and went on to play over 200 games for the club. Departed the club at the end of the 1997/98 season when he switched to Chester.
