- Biography
- Barnard started his career in July 1994 with Rotherham United as a trainee. After failing to make it into the first team setup, Barnard moved on to Worksop Town. After impressing during his time with The Tigers, Barnard earned a move to Darlington. He was key part in the 1995/96 season where the club made the Division 3 play-off final. Went on to make over 170 league and cup appearances for the club.
