- Started his career at Manchester United and was a substitute in the second leg of the 1995 FA Youth Cup which United won on penalties. Turned professional with Manchester United but never made an appearance for the club. Joined Burnley on trial but never managed to land a contract. Joined Darlington for the 1997/98 season where he made his only appearance for the club as a sub against Rotherham early in the season.
