- Kieran Burton arrived on loan at Darlington from Hartlepool United in October 2023. The defender had National League North experience from his time with Scarborough Athletic who he played for during the 2022/23 season. He arrived at Hartlepool in June 2023 ahead of the new season but hadn't been able to break into the first team and was loaned out to Darlington for a brief spell. Before Scarborough he played for Tadcaster Albion and joined them after a trial in 2021. He enjoyed a good season with Tadcaster and attracted the attention of Scarborough whom he joined for the 2022/23 season following their promotion to National League North.
