- Joined Darlington in the summer of 2014 after being released by York City. The former Sunderland youngster had spells at Brentford, Bradford City, Leyton Orient, Portsmouth and York City on loan. At the end of the 2012/13 season, Reed was released by Sunderland. He joined Burton Allbion on a one year deal but he rejoined York in January 2014 after parting company with Burton. He figured in a number of league games for York as the 2013/14 season reached its conclusion. Reed then joined Darlington in August 2014 after he was released from York City. His time at Darlington however was only a short one and he left to join Whitley Bay in November.
