Biography: Andy Johnson joined Darlington in June 2013 from Bishop Auckland. It proved a short term move however as he departed the club by the end of September. Prior to his Darlington move he was prolific in the Northern League with Bishop Auckland whom he joined at the start of the 2011 season. He went on to score 99 times in 106 appearances for Bishop. The 2012/13 season saw Johnston crowned the Northern League top scorer after socring 39 times. Following that season he joined Quakers where he scored six goals in eight appearances before quickly moving on to join Spennymoor Town.
