- Joined Darlington in 1992 after playing nearly 70 games for Doncaster Rovers. Made over 170 appearances for the club by the end of the 1995/96 season. Spent a spell with Chesterfield and was part of their memorable run in the 1997 FA Cup where they reached the semi-finals. In November 1997 he was back with Darlington and remained with the until the 1999 when he left to join Halifax Town.
