Biography
Liam started his career at Sunderland, and was on the fringe of the first team under Paolo Di Canio, but was released by Di Canio’s successor, Gus Poyet. He had trials at Carlisle and Gillingham, before joining Boston United in the National League North. He became a regular for them, and was part of the team that lost in successive play offs in seasons 2014/15 and 2015/16. He lives in Northumberland, and decided to move to Darlington before the 2016/17 season instead of making the much longer journey to Boston.
