Biography

Born in Gateshead he joined his hometown club in June 2023 after an excellent 2022/23 season with Birtley Town. Rutledge scored 61 goals in 43 appearances for Birtley, including several assists, as they went on to secure promotion to North League Division One. Prior to his spell at Birtley he had played for Wearside League outfit Gateshead Leam where he was again prolific, scoring 49 goals in 60 appearances over 2 seasons. Arrived at Darlington on loan late in the 2023/24 season to provide more attacking options.
