Biography

Striker Declan Howe signed for Darlington from Cleethorpes on loan until the end of the 22/23 season in March 2023. Declan had scored 16 times for Cleethorpes in the NPL East during the 22/23 season, including a hat-trick against Lincoln United. He started his career at Scunthorpe and then went to Doncaster before a spell coaching in USA. On his return, he played for Staveley in season 2021/22 in the Northern Counties East League, where he had a scoring ratio of a goal every two games.
