- Joined Darlington early in the 2022/23 season after being released by Bristol Rovers at the end of the previous season. Started his career in the academy at Middlesbrough, and played for the first team in the EFL Trophy, the Cup and the Championship before going out on loan to Blyth, Forest Green and Scunthorpe. He moved to Bristol Rovers in October 2020, and played seven times for them before going out on loan to Queen of the South. Son of former Darlington legend Craig Liddle who played nearly 300 times for the club as a defender.
