Biography

Aynsley Pears joined Darlington on loan in January 2018 from Middlesborugh. The son of Stephen Pears, who made over 400 appearances for Boro and winner of four promotions with the Teessiders, turned in a number of impressive performances during the second half of the 2017/18 season. Aynsley had been with Boro's academy since Under-9 level and played regularly for the Under-18s before joining the Under-23s before joining Quakers. On the back of his performances at Darlington Pears earned a new contract with Middlesbrough.
