- Gregg Blundell joined Darlington in January 2007 and hooked back up with former manager Dave Penney. Blundell had played under Penney at Doncaster Rovers and during the 2003/04 season scored 18 goals for the club as they won promotion. Played for Chester afterwards and departed there to join Darlington.
