- Kennedy started his career just up the A66 at Middlesbrough. Had loan spells with Boston United, Bury and Livingston. Joined Darlington initially on loan in February 2008. Quakers made the League Two play-offs at the end of the 2007/08 season. Kennedy scored a goal in the semi-final first leg against Rochdale. However in the second leg he missed his kick in a penalty shoot-out, sending Rochdale through to the play-off final. In May 2008 he joined Darlington on a permanent deal.
