- Jack Lambert signed for Darlington on loan in November 2019 from Scunthorpe. Started his career at Middlesbrough when Alun Armstrong was on the coaching staff there, before he moved on to Dundee in the Scottish Premier League for two seasons before he signed for Scunthorpe United in the summer. Lambert had just recovered from injury prior to his loan move to Darlington and was sent out to gain some match experience with Quakers. Extended his loan spell until the end of January when he returned to Scunthorpe United. Despite not starting every game Jack impressed during his time with Darlington.
