Biography
A midfielder who started his career in Newcastle United's youth team. Was released by the Magpies without being offered a contract. He joined Darlington in December 2001. Made several appearances for Quakers before a move to Carlisle United for around £40,000 in January 2003. While at Carlisle he appeared at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff as the Cumbrians lost 2-0 to Bristol City in the LDV Trophy final. Left Carlisle United when the club were relegated from the Football League at the end of the 2003/04 season. Rundle had spells at Dublin City, Mansfield Town, Rochdale, Chesterfield and Morecambe before eventually rejoining Darlington in July 2011 ahead of the club's 2011/12 campaign. Made several appearances for Darlington before the club hit financial difficulties and he had his contract terminated along with the rest of the squad in January 2012.
