Biography
Liam is primarily an attacking midfielder who started his career at Cambridge, for whom he made 177 appearances in the National League and League Two, scoring 14 goals, and also played and scored for them in the National League play off final against Gateshead in 2014. He also won the FA Trophy with Cambridge in 2014, beating Gosport in the final. He also played for Cambridge in their televised FA Cup tie against Manchester United at the Abbey Stadium in January 2015. He then moved on to the Scottish Premiership with Inverness Caledonian Thistle in January 2016 and made 11 appearances for them, before returning to England and signing for Barrow, where he made 42 appearances in the National League. After a brief spell at Guiseley, he then moved to Essex and joined Billericay, helping them to promotion from the Bostik League last season. Joined Darlington in May 2018. Eventually switched to the centre of defence where he made a number of good showings. His time with Darlington however ended in March 2019 when he joined Gainsborough Trinity.
